Acceptable Use Policy for GoTo Services
Effective Date: July 14, 2025

This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) outlines rules for using GoTo’s Services and is part of your Agreement with GoTo. We may modify this AUP from time to time as set forth in the Agreement. Your continued use of the Services after we have modified this AUP constitutes your acceptance of its terms.

Prohibited Activities. When using or interacting with our Services, you must not engage in, or allow your users or attendees to engage in, any of the following behaviors:

Illegal or harmful activities
  • Engaging in behavior that is unlawful, harmful, abusive, indecent, obscene, threatening, harassing, violent, defamatory, libelous, deceptive, misleading, fraudulent, malicious, indecent, obscene, illicit, or tortious.
  • Infringing or violating others’ rights, including their intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or other rights.
  • Exploiting or harming minors or soliciting information about minors without parental consent.
  • Sending unauthorized advertising, spam, sending bulk messages without consent, or contacting phone numbers in violation of applicable do-no-call restrictions.
  • Engaging in continuous or repetitive calls or messaging in a way that does or could reasonably lead to complaints.
Misrepresentation or fraud
  • Providing misleading information, including misleading others about your identity or the source or origin of a communication, or the location from which your communication originates (e.g., use of VPNs to obscure your location).
  • Using the Services to commit fraud or impersonate any person or entity
Unauthorized use
  • Modifying, preparing derivative works of, or reverse engineering our Services or using or displaying GoTo marks without our consent or in violation of our policies.
  • Marketing, selling, reselling, sublicensing, or assigning the Services in whole or in part to any third party, except as expressly permitted in a written agreement between GoTo and you.
  • Using the Services for the commercial benefit of any other party, such as operating a lead referral or network marketing business or seeking to inflate call volume or duration to other carriers (“traffic pumping”).
  • Using the Services on a service bureau or time-sharing basis, except as expressly permitted in a written agreement between GoTo and you.
  • Use of the Services as a conduit except as provided for in a written agreement with GoTo, such as trunking or forwarding your phone number to another number capable of handling multiple simultaneous calls, to a private branch exchange, or to a key system, except as permitted in a written agreement between you and GoTo.
  • Performing autodialing, predictive dialing, or other automated use inconsistent with typical human operation.
  • Sending messages that violate our Messaging Content Policy, network provider requirements or established industry guidance or requirements, including guidance from the Cellular Telecommunications and Internet Association (CTIA) or the wireless industry generally.
Unauthorized collection or use of data
  • Harvesting, collecting, or gathering user data without their consent, where required, or otherwise without legal authorization.
  • Intercepting, monitoring, or recording communications without consent, where required, or otherwise without legal authorization.
Compromising the integrity of our Services or networks
  • Using the Services in an unauthorized, excessive, or other manner that is designed to or could interfere with, compromise, or otherwise disrupt our networks, accounts, or the Services.
  • Attempting to bypass Service restrictions, exploit Service limitations, or avoid Service security controls.
  • Transmitting, or using the Services to create material containing malicious code such as viruses, time bombs, trojan horses, worms, malware, spyware, or any other programs that may be harmful or dangerous.
  • Engaging in any form of penetration testing, network scanning, vulnerability scanning, or other activities designed to identify vulnerabilities within the Services unless we have entered into an agreement regarding such testing or activities.
High-risk use
  • You understand that the Services are not designed or intended for use during high-risk activities which include, but are not limited to, use in hazardous environments requiring fail-safe controls, weapons systems, aircraft navigation, control, or communications systems, and/or uses where the failure of our Services could cause death or bodily harm.

Monitoring and Filtering. To enforce this AUP and the Agreement, to fulfill GoTo’s obligations to its carriers and to law enforcement, and where permitted by applicable law, GoTo may:

  • filter, monitor or review messages or other communications sent or received with the Services;
  • respond to lawful government requests, as more fully described in our Government Request Policy; and
  • use technologies and procedures, such as filters, that may terminate and not deliver unsolicited messages that are transmitted in violation of applicable law or regulation or that may otherwise violate our Messaging Content Policy or carrier content requirements.

Consequences for Violation.If GoTo reasonably believes that you have violated this AUP, we may take reasonable action against your account, including terminating your Agreement for cause (for example, if you subscribe to multiple Services, we reserve the right to terminate all Services); terminating your Service account, suspending your access to our Service(s), or reporting your activity to relevant authorities.

Additional Terms; No Waiver of Rights. This AUP is not exhaustive and does not replace other restrictions or limitations in the Agreement or under applicable law.
