What is End-to-End Encryption?

End-to-end encryption (E2EE) is a security method that prevents companies from reading and accessing your data – it ensures your meeting stays private from those who don’t have the decryption key or password. Think of it as an extra layer of security. When enabled, it will encrypt the media content of the session, which is why some features are disabled. An encrypted meeting requires a password which is provided by the organizer to all attendees. When joining an encrypted meeting, attendees will be asked for this password to decrypt media streams from the organizer and encrypt their media streams as well.
